organist, choral conductor, studied with Marcian Thalberg, Robert Goldsand and Parvin Titus at Cincinnati Conservatory Ohio, 1932-1940 private music teacher at her home 28 America Avenue in Wheeling, organist and choirmaster of St Matthew's Episcopal Church in Wheeling, she wrote piano teaching material for a publishing firm, 7.apr.1962 she was elected state president of the National League of American Pen Women for West Virginia, 15.apr.1966 she donated a tape recording of her compositions to the Recording Library Fund of the National League of American Pen Women at their convention in Tulsa Oklahoma ; daughter of general manager Steel Co. William Ernest Ackermann (Ohio, Martins Ferry 21.sep.1880-19.jul.1964 Wheeling) and Louise Estelle Fehrenbach (Ohio, Miltonsburg 8.apr.1882-28.feb.1965 Wheeling) ; 1931 she married vice-president Tinsley Steel Co. Elmer Curran Zoeckler (Wheeling 16.jul.1905-4.jan.1947 Wheeling)
